The Professional Fellows Program
In Fall 2019, the Professional Fellows program in Tech Innovation and Entrepreneurship will bring a new group of 16 tech and innovation leaders from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, and Slovenia for a four-week immersive fellowship experience in Chicago sponsored by the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
As a Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work with organizations across Chicago, including tech companies, government agencies, innovative NGOs, and university and non-university technology incubators. You will gain insight into best practices in tech innovation, entrepreneurship, and education, and observe how an effective urban innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem operates. You will also contribute to host organizations in a variety of ways, ranging from small projects, meetings with colleagues in the field, job shadowing, and independent research. We encourage you to bring your expertise and diverse perspective to US organizations!
