Yesterday (21.11.2023) marked the beginning of our new project entitled “Introduction of the GREEN FAB LAB Educational Concept in Secondary Schools”, financed by the European Union through the Key Action 2 of the Erasmus + Programme. The project started with an online Kick-off meeting of all partners from three countries: Greece, Poland, and North Macedonia. As a Coordinator of this project, Foundation CEED Macedonia organized and hosted the event intended to kick-start the project, discuss the project’s activities with all partners, the project dynamics, partners’ engagement, and following steps that need to be taken.
The project abbreviated “GREEN FAB LABs” aims at creating conditions for advancing STEM education in the covered schools, through the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Design Thinking methodologies in solving existing environmental issues, build the capacities of the teaching staff to use these innovative approaches in their subjects, and establishing and Equipping of Green Fab Labs in the selected schools. The 24-month-long project will be completed by 31st of October 2025.
The international consortium comprises representatives of the NGO sector, as well as secondary schools from all three countries. Besides Foundation CEED Macedonia which is the Coordinator of this project, other partners include:
