This week (23rd to 27th of June, 2025), Foundation CEED Macedonia, SUGS “Georgi Dimitrov” from Skopje and NGO LAG Kocani are hosting the international Blended Mobility Event, as part of their Erasmus+ Project “Introduction of a GREEN FAB LAB Educational Concept in Secondary Schools”.
Focused on sustainability, creativity, and digital fabrication, the event is designed to inspire and empower young minds to take an active role in shaping a more sustainable future through practical, project-based learning.
Over the course of four days, participants are taking in a dynamic program of activities that highlight green innovation and educational transformation, through teamwork, creativity, and the use of new technologies.
Representatives of Greek and Polish high schools that are partners in the project (1st Geniko Lykeio Amaliadas and Ogolnoksztalcace im. Romka Strzalkowskiego from Poznan), as well as the Greek NGO Action for Civil Society, are participating in the event.
The event brings together students and teachers from three countries (North Macedonia, Greece and Poland) to exchange knowledge, showcase innovative projects, and strengthen inter-school collaboration. The main purpose of the event is to present the best students’ team projects developed in each country within this project. Namely, in the previous project’s phase, students’ teams mentored by their teachers identified local environmental problems in their countries and have developed projects as solutions to these problems.
Moreover, the event served as an opportunity for organizing mixed, transnational students’ teams that practiced developing solutions to pollution-related problems in the City of Skopje, in this way exercising collaborative approach in addressing real community problems.
During the week, a transnational project team’s meeting was held, at which implemented and upcoming activities within the project were reviewed and planned.
