The 2nd Teachers’ Training organized within the GREEN FAB LABs Erasmus + project has started yesterday, June 24th, in 1st Geniko Lykeio Amaliadas secondary school based in Amaliada, Greece and one of the project partners and the host of this event.
The training is a continuation of the First Teachers’ Training that took place in Poznan, Poland in the beginning of April this year, and covers several important and useful topics for secondary school teachers: applying the new teaching methods learnt during the 1st training into secondary school STEM teachers’ programs, establishment and management of school-based fab labs and using the eTwinning platform and other useful web tools for teachers, has started yesterday.
This project is all about equipping the schools with new, hands-on tools and innovative approaches to engage students better into the learning process as well as to enhance the learning experience for them. This initiative also focuses on improving the conditions in these schools for application of the new methods.
The training is organized within the Erasmus Plus Green Fab Labs Project, coordinated by Foundation CEED Macedonia, in partnership with three secondary schools (SUGS Gjorji Dimitrov Skopje, 1st Geniko Lykeio Amaliadas, Greece and PUBLICZNE LICEUM OGÓLNOKSZTAŁCĄCE IM. ROMKA STRZAŁKOWSKIEGO W POZNANIU from Poznan, Poland) and 2 NGOs – LAG Kocani from North Macedonia, and Action for Civil Society from Athens, Greece. The event will continue through the next 4 days.
