The second project that we are running and is focused on Social entrepreneurship is UPSHIFT, a Project supported by UNICEF, Fund for Innovation and Technology Development and Ministry of Education and Science.
The project is focused on developing business ideas into Social Enterprises by youngsters. Through 3 three-day social impact workshops, young people from 13-19 years old can develop their business ideas and win a 2000eur to implement them. The winners get a 3 months mentor support in the implementation of the business idea.
So far, we have implemented 1 workshop with 41 participants who were developing 10 amazing ideas with social impact on the community. 5 of the teams were selected as winners during the pitch presentation. They were awarded 2000eur to continue to develop their ideas and make an impact on the society.
