Description
Project Summary:
This project’s activities were implemented as a part of the “Mladi HUB – Youth Building Employment Skills, Competencies and Networking for Youth” project run by NYCM.
CEED has designed and implemented two programs for youth:
- Entrepreneurship – Acceleration Program for Start-ups
This program was designed for startups, businesses, individuals, and teams consisted of young entrepreneurs which are ready to bring their business idea/company to the next development level. It included joint/group sessions in the first weeks and tailor-made sessions in the later stages. Participants were also involved in mentoring sessions that helped to design specific problem-solving solutions and provided ongoing opportunities to network and connect with other entrepreneurs, investors, partners or associates. The program also included preparation for presentation of the business idea (pitch training) and ended with the DEMO DAY where start-ups pitched in front of potential investors.
- Career Counseling Program
Career Counseling program was designed to equip unemployed youth with relevant career and job searching skills and competencies and help them become more competitive in the labor market.
It included individual and group work with experts in career counseling of youth and unemployed people. About 100 youth were covered with these activities.
At the end of the program, all participants have developed an individual employment plan.
