Final Closing Event of the Erasmus+ GREEN FAB LABs Project

On Monday, 13th of October 2025, the final closing event of the Erasmus+ GREEN FAB LABs Project took place on the premises of SUGS “Georgi Dimitrov” school in Skopje.

The event, which hosted guests from the educational sector and other relevant stakeholders, incorporated presentations of project results delivered by the involved project partners, and it served as a platform for the dissemination of project achievements. Representatives of the partners from all involved countries (North Macedonia, Greece, and Poland) took part in the event.

At the beginning of the event, the Coordinator of the Project gave an overview of the whole project cycle, explaining its objectives, design, activities, and results. Following her presentation, the intellectual outputs produced by the project were explained and promoted, as well as the activities conducted in each of the covered schools and each country, emphasizing the benefits from the Project.

At the end of the formal part of the event, a student team from SUGS “Gjorgji Dimitrov” – Skopje presented their winning business model, featuring an eco-robot designed for recycling waste.

The event ended with a visit to the GREEN Fabrication Lab established and equipped in the school within the framework of the GREEN FAB LAB project. The purpose of this project (which started in November 2023 and will be completed at the end of this month) was to advance STEM education in secondary schools by introducing new teaching methodologies and technologies in STEM education. To do this, the project worked on building teachers’ capacities for the application of the new methodologies and on the equipping and establishment of school-based Green Fabrication Labs.
